The June edition of the NJCRC's Technical Coffee Chat for New Jersey Coastal Communities series focused on the New Jersey Restoration Tool Organization Suite.
The New Jersey Restoration Tool Organization Suite (NJ ResTOrS) hosts a suite of habitat restoration planning tools, in the form of an organized roadmap that takes you from location identification to restoration approaches. NJ ResTOrS is one component of a larger strategy to equip coastal municipal planners and non-profit partners with the resources to plan, coordinate and implement coastal restoration projects that support community resilience, ecosystem health, and carbon sequestration. We heard from NJ ResTOrS collaborators, Rutgers University and The Nature Conservancy, and followed along with a site-level project planning demo from ACT Engineers.
